Family are the people that love and support us. The ones that we love and nurture and feel the most comfortable with. They are the ones that see us in the best and worst days and still know who we are at the core. They are the ones that remind us how amazing and capable we are. The ones the inspire us to go after our dreams and the ones that are a part of the dream. We want to photograph your family in a way that we feel this love in your portraits.

What to expect:

First, we want to make sure this reflects you both. Locations are very important. We want to find a place/places that you will be fun and exciting for everyone involved. We want to make them an adventure so the photoshoot will be a memory as well. Gone are the days of standing and looking perfect. We want you to look great and have a good time. I promise your whole family will thank you.

Second, I can help you with outfits or ideas if you’d like. Click on the Tips for your session page and call or text me as I LOVE to help.

Third, let’s have fun. I want to capture your love for one another and the joy you take in being together. If you have little kids in the mix, they NEED to have fun at their session. This will help so very much. Whether it’s at our farm, the beach, a river, a field, or an urban area, your kids want to be involved and this helps the portraits and your sanity. We will do some posed portraits, but the best ones (in my mind) are the ones where you are engaging with them how you would in real life. The tickles, tag, arm wrestling, playing music, dancing, reading, singing songs together, throwing them up in the air, playing air plane, etc. All the very specific things you do with them come with that in mind and bring the props! All the props to keep the kids busy. Books, ribbons, cupcakes for birthdays, etc.

Time: 1.5 Hours of photography

Images: You will get all fully edited large jpegs.

Locations: Let’s find a perfect magical spot for your portraits.

Outfits: As many as you’d like.

Travel: We will travel 30 minutes outside of the Tacoma area. Anything else will be added as an extra charge.
